About us

What is Skate Good Club?

Skate Good Club is a skater-owned, derby-tested company making roller derby gear that’s built to last and look amazing. Founded by Aly & Party—two London Roller Derby skaters fed up with inconsistencies, long wait times, and poor quality—the brand started prepping in 2023 and went fully into business in 2024/25.

They create:

  • Jerseys (tons of cuts, lengths, and style options)
  • Scrim/practice tops
  • Reversible armbands
  • Helmet covers
  • Officials gear

They design and produce in the UK & Europe, shipping from the EU, UK, and US, so teams worldwide can skate fierce and look fab. Skate Good Club is currently looking into manufacturing in the USA.

The proof? They’re already working with almost 100 teams, made uniforms for 12 teams at the 2025 World Cup in Innsbruck, and are trusted as the jersey provider for major brands like Riedell, S1, TSG, and big names such as Angel City, Gotham, and London Roller Derby.

Who is behind Skate Good Club?

Party is  from Belgium, now based in London. She skates with London Brawling and brought home a medal with England Roller Derby at the 2025 World Cup in Innsbruck. Party basically breathes roller derby.

With a background in political and social sciences, she completely ditched the traditional career route and did something wildly brave: she launched her own Roller Skating School right in the middle of the pandemic. Today, it’s the largest skate school in the UK, with over 10 locations and a full coaching team that she manages across 10 locations. That’s also where she picked up her serious business chops. Skate Good Club is her second passion project—born from a love for roller derby, comfortable sportswear, and doing things better.

Aly is a Canadian sweetheart and the calm to Party’s chaos. She’s a senior accountant by trade (yup, that’s actually her real-life job!) and knows her way around complex workflows, big spreadsheets, and financial wizardry. A former roller derby player herself, she’s also a musician, an adventurer, and always down to explore a weird museum or niche event in London.

Together, they balance each other perfectly.
Where Party is full-speed-ahead, Aly is thoughtful and strategic.

Skate Good Club is built on that combo: one skater’s deep all in mentality and another’s spreadsheet-driven brain. Add a shared passion for high quality sportswear and you've got the dream team behind your jerseys.

What does Skate Good Club do?

Skate Good Club creates high-quality, long-lasting roller derby uniforms and teamwear.

We design and manufacture custom jerseys and apparel built to withstand the demands of the sport, with a strong focus on durability, fit, colour accuracy, and premium printing. We also offer global shipping with dispatch hubs in the UK, Europe, and the USA to support teams around the world.

Where is Skate Good Club based?

We design and produce in the UK & Europe, shipping from the EU, UK, and the USA—so yes, the world is our track. We do this to work as sustainably as possible and to be as cost-efficient for teams.

Skate Good Club Jerseys

What cuts and sizes are available in your jerseys?

We’ve got 6 cuts: racerback, full-back vest, curved tee, and straight tee (Bootneck and V-Neck) —and six lengths (from “ultra-crop” to “extra-long”). Plus, inclusive sizing from 3XS to 6XL. Fit for any body, because every skater deserves to feel confident and fierce on track.

We’re currently working on adding two more styles to our jersey options.

Do you make reversible jerseys?

We’re working on them—but we don’t have these ready yet. Please note that realistically, they will cost almost double the price of a single jersey. They’re complicated to make and often require more remakes (and create more waste).

Launching early 2026!

Is the fabric suitable for roller derby?

Think spandex met battle armor… and they had a derby baby: velcro-resistant, sweat-wicking, colorfast, stretch that actually holds, and tough enough to survive even the nastiest jams.

Skate Good Club has two killer options for your uniform jerseys. Before we even picked a fabric, we went on a European fabric treasure hunt to make sure we ended up with the best of the best (Party’s house was, at one point, absolutely packed with fabric samples!).

AeroFlex? Lightweight, stretchy, and built to handle all the derby chaos.

Procore? A snugger fit, a tad heavier, and woven differently so it stretches a little bit less—but still laughs in the face of velcro.

Both are basically derby-proof superheroes.

Can I request a sample jersey?

Yes, absolutely. We offer sample jerseys and simply ask for a refundable deposit plus shipping to be covered.

Before requesting a sample, we recommend checking our team list — there’s a good chance a team near you already wears Skate Good Club, and may be happy to let you see (or even try on!) their jerseys.

We also have an extremely detailed size guide, which works incredibly well for fitting teams remotely. In fact, 90% of the teams we work with place their first order without ever seeing a physical sample, and only rely on the size chart when ordering.

Starting up with Skate Good Club

Okay, I’m ready—how do we set up an order?

Send us an email and we’ll get back to you with onboarding and an order form to complete. Once we receive them, we’ll spin up a team store just for your league and send you all the next steps. Everyone can order/pay individually, or your team can use our handy group order spreadsheet.

Do you have a minimum order requirement?

Nope! Even if you just want to order a single team jersey, we can make that happen. You can trial Skate Good Club with full peace of mind—no minimums required.

Can we place a bulk order?

Absolutely. You can use our group order spreadsheet or request a code to waive shipping fees so everyone can order through your team store. We’ll follow up with one single invoice for shipping.

How long does it take to get my order?

Our production time is 5–6 weeks + shipping. For first-time jersey orders, that timeline starts after design approval and receipt of payment. Next orders are likely to be faster.

In a rush? We have made jerseys overnight, so it's always worth asking. Please note we always work according to requested team deadlines.

Can I make changes to my order?

This depends. If you get in touch within one week of ordering vyour scrim top or armnbands, we can likely make a change. We're happy to help as long as your order hasn't entered production yet.

What do you need from our team to get started?

Ideally, the more information you can provide — logos, colours, design references, and any specific requests — the easier it is for us to create jerseys that perfectly match your vision.

That said, we can also work with literally nothing. We’ve successfully matched dozens of team designs for leagues who had lost all their original files, and at the same time we’ve created and rebranded many new leagues. With our super experienced designers, we can recreate logos, colours, and styles, or even build something entirely new that fits your team’s identity.

Our goal is to make the process simple while delivering jerseys that look exactly how your team imagines them

How do we pay for jerseys?

Skaters can pay individually via the team store, or if your team is paying, we’ll invoice your league after receiving your order sheet. Payments can be made via our webshop or bank transfer in a variety of currencies.

Sizing

How do I know what size to choose?

Our online sizing chart is very accurate. The best method? Lay a top you like flat on the floor and compare the measurements to our chart. Feeing stuck or confused? Just get in touch!

What if I order the wrong size?

Due to the custom nature of our products, we cannot offer free exchanges. Always make sure to have a good look at our sizing chart

I’m between two sizes—what do you recommend?

Always size up if you’re in doubt.

I ordered two tops in the same size. Why is one a little but different?

Small variations in pattern cutting, fabric shrinkage, or manufacturing tolerances can affect the final fit. Our sewing allowance is 3 cm—keep that in mind when ordering.

Can we request sizing jerseys?

Yes! We ask for a refundable deposit plus shipping. That said, most of our teams order without sizing samples—our chart is pretty comprehensive.

I don’t like how my top fits. Can you change it?

Unfortunately, we do not accept returns due to the custom nature of your order. The sizing chart is your best friend when picking size and cut.

Can you rush orders?

Yes, we can and we have created full team designs in just a few days.

Please note that we do not rush orders at the expense of another team's deadline.

What’s the safest timeline?

This really depends on how organised you are to order.
- Do you have all you design files?
- How long does it take you to answer our emails?

From experience, it’s best to add on a few weeks to your expected delivery date.

All things design

Can you identically match our current jerseys?

Yes, our team of designers are actual magicians.

We have a design and artwork. Can you use it?

Totally! After onboarding, we’ll send you a team folder with our jersey templates. You can recreate your own design or we can help. Depending on complexity, a fee may apply.

We have a jersey design but no files. Can you help?

Absolutely. Our graphics team can recreate or clean up your design—or give it a glow-up. We charge a small fee to recreate your original design.

We have no design. Can we still order?

Yes! We love starting from scratch.

Just tell us your vibe, colours, and style, and our design team will create something epic for your team. Pricing depends on how many options or revisions you’d like, but don’t let the design fee put you off — team branding and a unique, well-crafted look are worth it, and we make sure every jersey represents your team perfectly.

How long does design take?

This depends on what you deliver us. If your team has all the vector files, this can be as quick as just a few days.  New designs/rebrands takes about 2 weeks. Final timing depends on how many revision rounds you need.

Can you match our team colours exactly?

 Yes!

  • Digital matching: We use your Pantones.
  • Colour matching via Physical swatches: Adds 2–3 weeks but gives you the most accurate color match (because screens lie!).

We keep your colours on file for perfect future reorders.

Can we get custom team armbands?

Absolutely. We make reversible armbands in your team colours or designs. Velcro-proof and game-ready!

Will the number sizes be regulation-compliant?

Yes! We check everything before printing.

Team Stores

What's a team store?

A mini online shop just for your league. It’s password-protected and hosts all your custom products. Skaters can order directly—no middle-skater stress 🫠

Bonus: Once it’s live, you can reorder anytime—one jersey or ten.

Is there a setup fee?

Nope! Setting up your shop is 100% free.

How long does setup take?

Max 3 days after we get your onboarding + order form.

Oops & Fixes

I typed my derby name wrong / picked the wrong size…

If you let us know within a week of ordering, we can likely fix it. After that, it may already be in production and changes won't be possible.

What if there’s an error in my top?

Mistakes happen—we’ll make it right. Contact us within 14 days and send a photo of the issue.
(Bonus points for skipping the ALL CAPS and sending a kind message 😅)
